Most sites now are using flash in some ways. Flash (SWF) can be in the form of movies, cartoons, or interactive interfaces. Flash allows user input. Flash has smooth vector graphics and is a popular choice for games. Adobe flash uses an inbuilt player normally installed into your browser.
I have modified and developed many small flash movies. I can convert SWF files back to FLA (open source) and edit these to your requirement.
